Upon completion of her training she moved to London and started working in South London Dance Studios and Perfect Circle Dance where Vikki trained students for dance examinations in Imperial Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre & Tap. She had the opportunity to choreograph and coach on an individual basis for the festival team, and prepare children for auditions with The Royal Ballet School, West End shows and various performing colleges in the UK. Some of Vikki’s previous students have starred in West End shows such as Matilda, The Lion King, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Railway Children. Others have featured in TV adverts, modelling campaigns, performed in London Children’s Ballet, English National Youth Ballet and have trained in the Junior and Senior Associate programmes in The Royal Ballet. She had the fantastic opportunity to choreograph for many of the schools productions including the chance to co-choreograph the original ballet 'Windvale Sprites' based on the novel by Mackenzie Crook and composed by Debbi Parks. Some of Vikki’s past students have gone on to full time training in The Royal Ballet School (White Lodge), Tring Park, Bird College, Laine Theatre Arts, Arts Ed, Elmhurst Ballet School, Central Ballet School, and one is even dancing in The Matthew Bourne Company.  She also set up 'Musical Theatre Workshops' intensive summer courses which she ran for 5 years in London. In 2015 Vikki was presented with a Jack Petchey Award as an outstanding teacher.

In January 2017 Vikki moved to Vancouver, Canada taking up the role of head of ISTD exams at the Landing Dance Centre training students from the advanced division, half day professional programme and recreational division. On top of her extensive ISTD teaching Vikki also expanded on her musical theatre work during her time with Lights Up Musical Theatre School's. During her time abroad she was lucky enough to be a guest teacher in many dance studios for workshops, masterclasses, summer intensives and drop in classes, as well as continuing her own training in the popular Harbour Dance Centre. Vikki moved back to Ireland in September and started teaching in various dance schools around Dublin and started Vitality Dance Academy in October 2018. She is delighted to be back home where she hopes to pass on her wealth of knowledge and love of dance to all those that she teaches.

Vikki moved back to Ireland in September 2018 and started teaching in various dance schools around Dublin as well as continuing to attend many CPD courses to further her training and teaching knowledge. In October 2018 a dream became a reality and Vikki opened Vitality Dance Academy. She hopes to pass on her wealth of knowledge and love of dance to all those that she teaches.
